Grassroots Street Orchestra-Forth World War
Govinda - Engineer, Produced, Mixed
South-East Queensland locals, Grassroots Street Orchestra, have created a formidable reputation and a dedicated following throughout Eastern Australia with their captivating original sound, and intense, high-energy live performances. Their unique style is a potent mix of passionate, politically charged, eloquent hip-hop lyricism, underpinned by exotic, progressive sounds from a jaw-dropping live instrumental lineup. After standout festival performances, industry showcases, several east coast tours and a successful EP in 2007 - and with a debut album on the way. 2008 is shaping up to be a big year for this local six-piece phenomenon, with the band having so far opened the hip-hop stage at the Big Day Out as well as supporting The Red Eyes and Urthboy already this year.
